PWCQ 85: Top 8 Deck Lists
The PWCQ 85 tournament featured diverse top 8 decks including Chaos Turbo and Warrior, with Killer9208 taking first place with a Warrior deck.

Wow! Another two-invite PWCQ has come and gone, and boy was it a sick one. Most of the top 8 was Chaos Turbo and Warrior, but there were certainly some highlights to marvel at.
First off was one of those turbo players: Picatron. This is his first top not playing his flagship Warrior Turbo deck, but the result shows that heโs still got it nonetheless. Congrats to Picatron on another great performance. Also in top 8 were Alephya2 on Chaos Turbo, Aco77 on Turbo, and PradaG on warrior. Congrats to all these players as well!In top 4 we had Duelinghigh101 on Warrior as well as one of the spiciest features of the event: Nikoschatz (Aka Usain Bolt aka โMr. Double Dotโ) brought a Chaos Turbo deck teching two Scapegoat and one Metamorphosis that transforms into Reasoning Gate Turbo. This is, to my (extensive) knowledge, the first time in Goat Format history Turbo into RGT has been attempted. Itโs certainly the first top, and hopefully not the last. Niko also gave us the biggest โwhat ifโ of the tournament, as he accidentally kept Tsukuyomi in during the transformation in top 4 (it messes up your Reasoning/Gate if itโs hit). Could he have gone all the way? The world will never know. Nonetheless, congratulations to both of these players. Finally, we have two familiar names in first and second place: Killer9208 on Warrior and psyt on the insane pile of cardboard known as โSWAGโ (Stein Will Archer Goats). Always love to see psyt doing his thing in these tournaments. The biggest takeaway from PWCQ 85 is that everything from the most whitebread Turbo/Warrior decks to established decks with sick tech to absolute piles of insanity all have a shot at the top in this twenty-one-year-old format, and thatโs nothing short of amazing. Stay tuned for the next PWCQ on April 26th, and our next Goat Format Championship May 2nd!โ-puy
