Overview

31829185

With Dark Necrofear as the boss monster of choice, Fiend Aggro typically comes in hard with aggressive plays, dishing out damage and filling the grave until it can slam Necrofear in the late game. Dark Ruler Ha Des makes defensive effect monsters a non-issue, and packs just enough of a punch to attack over Monarchs, Jinzo, and Chaos Sorcerers.

Slate Warrior is the typical beater of choice in Fiend Aggro, with Archfiend Soldier and Giant Orc not too far behind. As a flip effect monster, it goes hand in hand with Night Assailant, a fiend-type Man-Eater Bug that helps repel Delinquent Duo and other discard effects. Though small, Giant Germ is also popular as an easy graveyard filler.

Deck List

All of the deck's typical lineup is present here. Giant Germ helps to summon both of our bigger threats by either filling the field or the graveyard. Giant Orc can punch through walls like Gravekeeper's Spy, or just land massive life point hits. He's kept alive by the high battle trap count, but can also be tributed for Ha Des.

Additional Card Options

There are many different routes to explore with Fiend Aggro, each with its own flavor. Emissary of the Afterlife plays well in the strategy, attacking into battle traps without worry, tributing to higher level fiends like Ha Des, and searching out Dark King of the Abyss for card advantage. He's sometimes played with Skull Knight #2. These decks run high tribute monster counts, sporting threats like Mefist, Skull Archfiend of Lightning, and End of Anubis. The Malice Doll of Demise + Ectoplasmer combo also plays well with Emissary and fits into the fiend shell in general.

Level one fiends like Dark Mimic, Goblin King, and Kuriboh invite Metamorphosis and Tsukuyomi to the mix. These versions are much more control-oriented, but have their merit. If the list is heavy on traps, Mask of Darkness may also be seen.

While more of a meme build than anything, the Berserk Dragon + A Deal With Dark Ruler play is an option, as Necrofear fills the eight-star requirement. Skill Drain is popular in these versions, but thanks to its overall power level and synergy with most typical fiend monsters, it is also seen outside of the meme.
