Overview

Dragon Aggro fills the niche of decks that abuse dragon support cards, but do not aspire to specific dragon lines like Blue or Red Eyes, or the LV dragons. Stamping Destruction is the main reason for the deck's existence. By running a large number of dragon-type monsters, the pilot also gains access to backrow removal that other strategies don't get.

Masked Dragon is another reason to play the deck. Running the floater makes Stamping Destruction and other dragon support more consistent, and can make for powerful plays when used with the right cards, like Creature Swap. The ability search out Element Dragon, who benefits greatly from the many Fire and Wind attributes available, is another plus.

Mirage Dragon and Luster Dragon are also popular. The former keeps enemy traps disrupting the deck's aggressive playstyle, and the ladder has some of the best stats of any four-star around.

Deck List

Seven Wind dragons make Element Dragon's double-tap ability more consistently active. Paired with the piercing of Spear Dragon, goat tokens and small flip monsters are trivial to deal with. The Fire Attribute of Masked Dragon also comes in handy with Element, granting a nice 500 ATK boost.

Mirage Dragon and Stamping Destruction clear the backrow to make beatdown plays more safe. Saku and Ruin keep the weaker dragons safe from a swingback, and help Spear Dragon survive for multiple attacks.

Additional Card Options

Of the dragon monsters not already mentioned, only Cave Dragon has any level of viability. Both Grey Wing and Spirit Ryu require discard to reach their full potential, which is mediocre at best. UFO turtle, however, searches out Masked Dragon, adds to the Fire count for Element Dragon, and makes Creature Swap more viable.

Most dragon support requires higher level dragons, but both Burst Breath and Dragon's rage have their place in sideboards to deal with tokens and other swarming issues.
