Overview

Separate from Lockdown Burn decks, Burn tries to deal lethal damage to the opponent through the effects of its monsters, spells, and traps. This is all done without attempting to protect itself with floodgate cards common in other burn strategies, like Gravity Bind or Level Limit - Area B.
Des Koala is the most popular monster of the strategy, able to dish out large amounts of damage while still protecting life points thanks to its beefy 1800 DEF. Big Shield Gardna is also well-liked because it eat Nobleman of Crossout and can still deal respectable damage when attacked by a unsuspecting opponent. Giant Germ, Dekoichi the Battlechanted Locomotive, and Mystic Tomato are also played.
For spells and traps, the triplicate set of Ojama Trio, Just Desserts, and Secret Barrel are almost always played in full numbers.
Deck List
Without floodgates for protection, this list plays a fairly high monster count to keep its life points intact. Giant Germ puts extra bodies into play while dealing 500 damage on death, and Dekoichi draws into more burn. Gardna and Sunlight both stop Nobleman of Crossout, and have their own synergy together. If an opponent attacks a Gardna which has been forced into attack position, Sunlight can be played to change it back into defense, saving Gardna and likely dealing extra damage to the opponent in the process.
With the high number of flip monsters, both Night Assailant and Book of Moon are natural inclusions.

Variants
Speed Burn
Speed Burn decks eschew almost all protective measures in order to inflict as much damage as possible as fast as possible. Meteor of Destruction and Tremendous Fire are staples of the variant, with Dark Room of Nightmare, Poison of the Old Man, and Restructor Revolution all being favored as well.
This list makes use of Card of Sanctity to reload its hand after firing off all of its burn. Sanctity only needs one other card (either in your hand or in play) to be activated. So, it's great for ditching dead Meteor of Destruction, spent Koalas, Gardnas, or Dark Rooms to close out the game.

Additional Card Options
Cannon Soldier and its toon cousin are often paired with Scapegoat for an easy 2000 damage blow. Though not always easy to set up, this can be a powerful and unexpected play. Amazon Archer is alternate part of this combo that is occasionally seen alongside Big Shield Gardna lists, since both are searchable with Reinforcement of the Army.
