The Yugizuna Tournament for Charity 2025 is a multi-day sumo-styled Yu-Gi-Oh! event starting June 20, 2025, with 7 rounds of Swiss play benefiting charity.

Time to chow down on some chanko and fit into your lucky mawashi as we head into this year's Yugizuna Tournament for Charity, where we determine the one and only Yokozuna of Yu-Gi-Oh! with a sumo-styled tournament structure and give over $100 to charity in the process! Start Date: Friday, June 20, 2025 8:00 AM ESTStructure: 7 Rounds of Swiss with 72 hour rounds (with extensions during holidays and big tournaments). No traditional top cut. The player with the most match wins at the end is declared the winner, with a sumo-style tiebreaker. Additional prizes below!Deck Submission: NO CHAOS TURBO OR FTK DECKS ALLOWED. All other goat legal decks will be accepted. These prizes are:Yokozuna: $100 donated to the charity of their choice, the @Yokozuna role, and their choice of a $10 DB donation code or Discord Nitro. Awarded to the player with the most match wins.Technique Prize: $25 donated to the charity of their choice and a $10 DB code/discord nitro. Awarded to the best performing player (except another prize winner) who used what I deem to be a creative or original deck!Outstanding Performance: $25 donated to the charity of their choice and a $10 DB code/discord nitro. Awarded to a top player who showed a great amount of skill throughout the tournament, typically 2nd place or a player who defeated the current/new Yokozuna.Fighting Spirit Prize: $25 donated to the charity of their choice and a $10 DB code/discord nitro.
